Tibetan Ex-Political Prisoners' Association Medicine Buddha Stupa
The Great Namgyal Stupa in Dharmsala, Losar is Long Life Stupa that was built in the honor of H. H. the IV Dalai Lama. The Church is a sole sponsor of the Great Namgyal Stupa Project.
The Association had been trying to build this Stupa in honor of the Tibetan refugees who had been imprisoned and tortured and call upon the Medicine Buddha, the most powerful influence of loving-compassion incorporated within a Victory Stupa or Namgyal Chorten. The Medicine Buddha is known as an indigo or lapis lazuli Buddha - the solid influence that is known as the heart center, the indigo Ray. The Medicine Buddha is the highest level of Buddha-beingness as a human being. As that radiates out solid heart love, it actually radiates out the energy that brings about matter itself into harmony and into balance.
As refugees come from Tibet and have suffered, and know people who have suffered or died, they walk around the Stupa and are actually doing something about it - healing the energy so that the vengeance does not continue. An unprecedented project is underway to gather the names, information, history and anything that's known about the people who have lost relatives, loved ones and monasteries in the fall of Tibet. Letters of information will be picked up from all the villages of Tibet and will be collected and put together in a very large urn that will be placed into the Stupa. Prayers will be placed upon that to forgive and forget all the relationships that have happened to those people so that when they reincarnate they will be blessed and they'll be healed.
Where there is torture with no time to be able to forgive it or heal it before dying, it can carry over to the next life so there can be much pain, anger or frustration and a lack of ability to bring about virtues. The Stupa gives an opportunity to heal, massively heal a wrong-doing that could be transmuted and transformed before one dies. That heals the nation so that it doesn't carry over into the world of energies of prejudice, hate, greed and injustice. It literally helps to stop the process of hate and the influence of hate to continue in the world, whether it be wars or injustice of human rights in Afghanistan, Israel/Palestine or anywhere in the world. What is happening with Stupa in relation to Tibet will affect all the nations and radiates out.
The Stupa is a sacred geometric Temple that aligns to the sacred geometric form of the human being and the earth and all sacred forms. As people ambulate around Stupas going around in the clockwise motion of the sun, it helps to create a radiating force coming out of the Stupa that reaches the Earth. The Stupa is activated like a prayer that helps to self realize and actualize an energy of the collective consciousness that is the energy of the Soul - Saintly qualities that bring light and virtues to all humanity, in the same way. It is very important.
Stupas are built with a process where people of today can actually heal the energy of today and increase the influence of the light on the earth and bring about the awakening of Buddha nature in every single nation and all planets in all the cosmos. Everything that happens in a negative way, in lower karmic ways, can actually be transformed through forgiveness and through the energy of bringing everything together and then praying at that focus where a Saint might be or a sacred site might be and influencing that sacred site to radiate out to the world.
